Meet Jocelyn, the Artist
From an early age, I was drawn to painting, with animals naturally becoming my primary subject. I feel a profound connection to them and am continually inspired by their individuality and the quiet, emotional presence they bring into our lives. Through my work, I aim to create meaningful pieces that resonate with the bond between people and their animals.
Alongside commissioned work, I also paint ‘Plein Air’ (outside) and Still Lifes in the studio, continually exploring and developing the techincal skills needed in creating a beautiful painting.
Over the years, I have dedicated myself to refining my technique and developing my artistic voice. The process of painting remains a constant source of joy and fulfillment for me.
Originally from California, USA, I have been living in Dresden, Germany since 2006, where I share my life with my family and our pets.
