Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Jocelyn Alice Studio! We appreciate your interest in our hand-painted artwork, including custom pet portraits, still lifes, landscapes, original paintings, and fine art prints. By purchasing from or commissioning us, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. General

  • These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases and commissions made through our website, email, or social media channels.

  • Jocelyn Alice Studio reserves the right to update these terms at any time without prior notice.

 

2. Orders and Payment

  • Orders may include commissions, original artworks, or fine art prints.

  • 100% payment is required upfront before any work begins or artwork is shipped.

  • All prices are listed in Euro (€) and may change without notice.

  • Accepted payment methods: Credit Card, PayPal, and Bank Transfer.

 

3. Custom Commissions

  • Custom orders (e.g., pet portraits) require reference images provided by the customer.

  • Progress updates are available upon request.

  • A final preview may be sent prior to delivery; minor adjustments are included. Major revisions may incur an additional fee or be declined if outside the original brief.

  • Once painting has started, the order is final and cannot be canceled or refunded.

 

4. Prints and Originals

  • Prints and original artworks are sold as-is and described as accurately as possible.

  • Please note that colors may vary slightly due to differences in display screens or print processes.

  • All sales are final.

 

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Orders are typically created and ready to ship within 3 weeks of receiving full payment.

  • If you require a quicker turnaround, please contact us before ordering. Rush orders may be accepted for an additional fee, depending on availability.

  • Shipping costs vary by location and will be calculated at checkout or quoted in your invoice.

  • Jocelyn Alice Studio is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs.

  • Damaged shipments must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photographic evidence for resolution.

 

6. Refunds and Cancellations

  • All sales are final.

  • If an order is canceled before work has begun, a full refund may be issued.

  • Once work has started, cancellations are not eligible for refunds.

  • If you're dissatisfied with your artwork, please contact us to discuss a possible resolution.

 

7. Copyright and Usage

  • Jocelyn Alice Studio retains full copyright to all original and commissioned artworks.

  • Clients may not reproduce, resell, or commercially use the artwork without written permission.

  • We may share images of commissioned or sold work for promotional purposes, unless the Client specifically requests otherwise at the time of purchase.

 

8. Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers are responsible for providing accurate order details (including artwork size, style, and image references), which can be done on the commission page of jocelynalicestudio.com.

  • Please respond promptly to any communication regarding your order to avoid delays.

 

9. Liability

  • Jocelyn Alice Studio is not responsible for color differences caused by screens or print processes.

  • We are not liable for lost or stolen shipments once marked as shipped or delivered.
